About SaviD

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. From a young age I've always been inspired by electronic music. My earliest musical memory is probably watching my uncle play sets in his garage that he converted into a studio whenever we had family functions. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Big L, Lifestylez ov da Poor & Dangerous Kendrick Lamar, good kid, m.A.A.d city (Deluxe Version) LINKIN PARK, Minutes to Midnight (Deluxe Edition) I am adore nu-metal, as well as both old and new school styles of hip hop. I personally felt a major connection with Linkin Park's MTM album heavily as it explored a lot of topics relating to emotional trauma, depression, and anxiety. RIP Chester. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Gone” This song to me represents closure. I lost my significant other to suicide in early 2016 and it took me years to fully accept what had happened. Writing this song was very cathartic to me and despite it being a simple track, it is very special to me. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My most memorable moments simply are the long-term friendships and personal connections I've made with people throughout my years of making music, and moments where people have let me know that my music resonated with them emotionally. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Oh absolutely. There are so many artists I would love to work with. It's hard to pin down a specific thing I would still like to do, but I certainly want to give shouts to artists like Pocket, Direct, The Greys, and many more who I can't fit here!
