Originally conceived as a solo project for New York City-based artist David Moltz, Salt & Samovar traded the lo-fi confines of the bedroom for the road in 2006 with the help of former members of Moonraker, FEAST, and Mattison. The collective's unique blend of blistering psychedelic rock and fire and brimstone-infused Americana can be heard on their 2007 debut, Old Joy New Joy. ~ James Christopher Monger
