Roseau is the performing alias of Kerry Leatham, a singer, songwriter, producer, and occasional rapper. She combines played and programmed elements for intricately layered yet restrained indie electronic material that contains shadowy elements of contemporary R&B. Leatham takes her name from the capital city of Dominica, where she has family roots, and is based in East London, England. After she recorded indie pop for the Tape Club label under her birth name, she signed to Big Dada as her new outlet, where she released the debut Roseau album, Salt, in 2015. A handful of its tracks were issued as singles, including "Grab," which was remixed by stylistic peer Kwes. ~ Andy Kellman
