In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My fondest, and earliest memories come from riding in the car with my father as a child. He had two rear speakers in the back of his '96 Impala SS, and I would lean my head against the back of the seat to hear endless colors of music come to life. D'Angelo, Voodoo Richie Havens, Mixed Bag Styx, Crystal Ball To paint a story as an artist is an incredible part of the songwriting experience. Tell us why you chose this song. “Op. No. 81: Sardin” This is one of my favorite compositions. Written towards the end of my "Thoughts of the Week" project, the simplistic textures of both keyboard and soprano saxophone blend in a unique harmony.
