Cliff Jones

One of several performers with this name in the music business, this Cliff Jones works on Broadway and is known for bringing some pretty interesting characters to work with him: Hamlet, for instance. It was Jones' idea for the bummed-out Danish prince to rock out, a concept brought to fruition in 1976 by Jones' own diverse efforts as both a composer of music and a lyricist. Several decades later it was Lambchop on Broadway, but this time Jones was just providing additional music arrangements. He is not the same Cliff Jones who sings gospel music, nor the one who leads the rock band called Gay Dad. ~ Eugene Chadbourne
