Wilsen: Influences

Wilsen's dream pop draws on universally enchanting sources. The group's lush chords and feathery melodies evoke the lazy-river ballads of Andy Shauf and the deconstructed shoegaze of Braids—both acts that, like frontwoman Tamsin Wilson, emerged from Canada's rich indie scene. The band's layered textures, meanwhile, suggest Bon Iver and Low's more dishevelled, experimental productions.
