After developing a cult following throughout the early '90s, Raggasonic found mainstream success and critical acclaim with their self-titled debut album in 1995. They'd hit upon a rare but inviting combination of fresh electronic music mixed with classic reggae—all topped off with smoothly delivered French lyrics. This singular style was expanded upon on in 1997's Raggasonic 2. Despite 15 years and one break-up, the group re-emerged in 2012 with Raggasonic 3, sounding refreshed and as energetic as ever.
