“Party Favor” is an understatement for what Dylan Ragland's music does. This Manhattan-born DJ makes rap-influenced EDM so full of energy, it seems to encompass the party in its entirety. “Bap U”, his breakout hit from 2014, opens with a cinematic siren before using stuttering hip-hop percussion to build toward a cataclysmic drop. Songs like “Scrape” and “WAWA” are as suited for parking-lot festivals as they are for an underground rave, while “Booty Loose” brings the party to New Orleans, recruiting bounce star Fly Boi Keno to chant over a frenetic beat that's built to keep the party going well after the sun comes up.
