Jimmy Miller: The Producers

Jimmy Miller: The Producers

Born in Brooklyn, Jimmy Miller moved to England in the mid-'60s, getting his start as a house producer for Island Records, where he scored early hits for ska singer Millie and The Spencer Davis Group. His late '60s and '70s work for The Rolling Stones, Traffic and Blind Faith cemented his reputation as a rhythm-forward producer who never lost the essence of the song even in a thicket of overdubs.
