In the early days of dancehall, Henry "Junjo" Lawes was one of the biggest players on the scene, both as a producer and as the owner of the Volcano label. Following early success with Barrington Levy in 1979, his subsequent production credits included tunes by Yellowman, Eek-A-Mouse and Michigan & Smiley.
