Family Tree: Zita Swoon

From their early ‘90s beginnings—originally as A Beatband, then as Moondog Jr.—the members of Zita Swoon have always been active in other projects. Frontman Stef Kamil Carlens originally played bass in dEUS, whose noisy, guitar-oriented sound dipped into both grunge and psychedelia. More recently, guitarist Bjorn Eriksson's Maxon Blewitt project has delivered intriguing electro-folk.
