With various incarnations dating back to the '40s, the Blind Boys of Alabama are an American institution. After spending their first several decades dominating the gospel scene with soul-stirring spirituals, the group found an entirely new audience in the '00s after signing with Peter Gabriel's Real World Records. Besides collaborating with that former Genesis frontman, the GRAMMY® and Dove Award winners also joined Ben Harper on multiple projects, concurrently expanding their harmony-ripe repertoire with R&B and rock covers, alongside uplifting originals.
