Country music songwriters are famously prolific. Many of the genre’s biggest hitmakers have vaults bursting with unheard demos and ideas, all waiting for the right artist to come along and turn them into hits. On Lost & Found Radio, Apple Music Country mines the vaults and pairs tracks with pitch-perfect rising or established artists to record official single releases, in immersive Spatial Audio. Lost & Found Radio will offer unprecedented access into the world of country songwriting, releasing the original demo tracks (the “Lost” part) alongside their newly recorded, star-studded counterparts (“Found”). In addition to debuting this new music, each of the six Lost & Found Radio episodes will include in-depth background for each song, like deep dives into the creative process with each track’s original songwriter, behind-the-scenes perspectives from studio musicians and producers and, of course, inspiring insights from the artists recording their own takes, sharing what connected them to a song that may otherwise have never seen the light of day.
