Tom VR

Leeds-based DJ/producer Tom VR creates understated, emotive dance music that's designed for listening to in clubs as well as through headphones. Although a traditional four-to-the-floor approach has been the basis for his production, his debut full-length, 2018's Films, incorporated a broader variety of genres, including elements of breaks and ambient music. Tom VR emerged in 2017, around the same time that he helped set up a record label known as Valby Rotary alongside two others, Louf and Jeigo. His first EP was the second release for the label, Valby 002. He also released the Frissons EP, although this time on Seb Wildblood's All My Thoughts; the label would go on to release his debut full-length, Films, the following year. ~ Liam Martin
