In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest memory is of my dad playing music on his radiogram which I'm pretty sure doubled as a cabinet. The music was in stark contrast to the gospel hymns and choruses that we sang at my mum’s church. All of it was a beautiful education for me. Kim Burrell, Everlasting Life PJ Morton, The Piano Album Stevie Wonder, Songs in the Key of Life Songs in the Key of Life-I was a teen when Stevie's album was released, so this is an all-time classic. Everlasting Life-I had never heard anything like it. The Piano Album - I absolutely love his authenticity and the themes he addresses.
