About Rittz

Rapper Rittz serves up high-speed rhymes about his life in Atlanta, the music industry and his struggles with addiction. • The Pennsylvania native moved to Gwinnett County, Georgia, when he was eight years old. By the time he was 12, he’d discovered hip-hop and started writing his own raps. • The MC chose his stage name in reference to Ritz crackers—a play on the fact he’s white. • In 2010, after years in the game with little to show for his efforts, Rittz scored his breakthrough feature on Yelawolf’s 2010 single “Box Chevy”. Rittz’s White Jesus mixtape followed soon after on Yelawolf’s Slumerican label. • He signed with Tech N9ne’s Strange Music in 2012 and released four albums with the label before issuing his fifth LP, 2019’s Put a Crown on It, on his own Cli-N-Tel Entertainment. • The rapper cites OutKast as one of his biggest influences. He even has an “ATLien” tattoo on his hand in honour of his hometown heroes.
