About Paul Allen & The Underthinkers

At the age of 16, Paul Allen picked up the electric guitar after seeing a Jimi Hendrix concert. By 1975 he had co-founded Microsoft, and stayed with the company until 1983. He went on to become a leading philanthropist, founder and chairman of Vulcan Inc, the owner of several pro sports teams, and a musician who jammed with Carlos Santana, Buddy Guy, and Robbie Robertson. In 2013 Allen released his first blues rock album with his UnderThinkers. Everywhere at Once was issued on Sony Legacy and included guest appearances by Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart, Chrissie Hynde, and Joe Walsh, among others. All proceeds from the album went to educational programs at his Experience Music Project Museum in Seattle. ~ Al Campbell
