About Nicolas Rivenq

Nicolas Rivenq is a singer whose operatic career began in French houses (including the Opéra de Paris at Palais Garnier) in early operas. These include Monteverdi's L'incornazione di Poppea, La Favola d'Orfeo, and Il ritorno d'Ulisse in patria and Rameau's Les Indes galantes. Beginning in the summer of 2000, he began to broaden his appearances to include, among other parts, Donald in Britten's Billy Budd (in Venice) and Guglielmo in Così fan tutte at Reggio Emila, and has participated in an EMI recording of Massenet's Manon.
