About Juana La Loca

Latin rock band from Argentina Juana La Loca was formed by the end of the 1980s, debuting with an independent record called Autoejecución. After signing up to BMG, the band released 1993's Electronauta, produced by Daniel Melero. To promote that album, Juana La Loca started touring the country, playing along with Los Brujos, having the opportunity to open for international act Depeche Mode in April of 1994. The following year, the group issued Revolución, later moving to the U.S. to record Vida Modelo, released in 1997. In April of 1998, Juana La Loca was the opening act for Oasis while the British band was touring South America. ~ Drago Bonacich
