About Josh Osho

British singer/songwriter Josh Osho makes dance, rap, and R&B-inflected melodic pop. Born in South London in 1992, Osho grew up in a hard-working multicultural household, with a Nigeran-Irish mother who was employed at various times as a social worker and a Kenyan father who worked as a boxer and ska musician. By all accounts a good student and enthusiastic football player who regularly attended church with his mom, Osho nonetheless had a rough childhood that found him homeless and dealing drugs by age 16. However, having had a strong interest in music from a young age, Osho turned his life around and began pursuing a singing career. In 2011, Osho signed a recording contract with Island Records and released several singles, including "Redemption Days" featuring rapper Ghostface Killah and "Giants" featuring rapper Childish Gambino. In 2012, Osho released his full-length debut album, L.I.F.E., which included executive production from the Wu-Tang Clan. ~ Matt Collar
