In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The first concerts I went to were David Bowie in 1976 and The Jerry Garcia Band in 1978.  At the time I didn't realize I was seeing some of the best live music ever. It came full circle in 2024 when I saw Melvin Seals of the JGB play at a festival. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bob Dylan, Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits, Vol. 2 Grateful Dead, Long Strange Trip: The Untold Story of the Grateful Dead (Motion Picture Soundtrack) The Allman Brothers Band, The Essential Allman Brothers Band: The Epic Years Duane Allman's slide guitar is both energizing and soothing. Like a good home cooked meal! The Grateful Dead captivate with their songwriting, but their improvisation take listeners to another level of consciousness. Dylan's lyrics are unmatched. Tell us why you chose this song. “Adrenaline Junky” “Adrenaline Junky” grew out of backstage conversations about the post-tour adrenaline crash that musicians experience when the sugar rush of live music-making is replaced by the grind of real life. It makes the old sound new and new sound familiar. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing festivals like Woodstock Forever, Street Life (Leverkusen) and Grammo-Musik-Festival (Leichlingen), as well as many prestigious clubs like the Bielefelder Jazz Club, Speiches Rock- & Blueskneipe (Berlin) and Music Star (Norderstedt) Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We would love to play more throughout Europe, like in Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria and France. We also would love to do a collaboration with some of the young upcoming Americana stars on the European circuit.
