About Ana de la Vega

Flutist Ana de la Vega has performed with some of Europe's top orchestras. By 23, de la Vega was principal flutist of the Orquestra Sinfonica do Norte in Portugal. She went on to found the London International Players. De la Vega has been in demand as a soloist in many countries, appearing with such groups as the English Chamber Orchestra and the Lucerne Festival Strings, and she has been heard at major halls. De la Vega released her debut album, Mozart, Mysliveček: Flute Concertos, in 2018. In 2020, de la Vega issued an album of chamber works by Haydn and Carl Stamitz with the Trondheim Soloists, and the following year, she was heard with other players on the album Bach Unbuttoned. With pianist Paul Rivinius, de la Vega released the album My Paris in 2022.
