Editors' Notes The fifth installment of the Pirates franchise finds Jack Sparrow once again in the middle of a swirling cast of characters racing to get their hands on the Trident of Poseidon. Composer Geoff Zanelli—who contributed a theme to the fourth film, On Stranger Tides—provides an appropriately soaring score, marked by teeth-rattling percussion (“The Dying Gull”) and sharp, stabbing strings (“Kill the Sparrow”).
