The Mexican indie rock band La Gusana Ciega came into the public eye in the early ‘90s after competing in the rock contest Rockotitlán's Batalla de las Bandas ll. Following their first recording, they were picked up by independent label Intolerancia who released their debut album. Full of catchy riffs and lyrical hooks, the band rode the wave of fame. Opening for Oasis on their 1998 Latin Tour confirmed their pop power and lead to a major label deal. This playlist gives an enlightening insight to one of Mexico's biggest indie rock groups.
