Gülru Ensari

Pianist Gülru Ensari is especially active in Germany, where she was partly trained and where she lives with her family. In addition to solo performances, she is an avid chamber music player and also performs duo piano music with her husband, pianist Herbert Schuch. As a recording artist, Ensari has been active with Schuch. They released their debut album, Go East!, in 2017. As a solo recitalist and chamber player, Ensari has given concerts in many European countries and the U.S., as well as in Turkey, where she performs regularly as a concerto soloist with the country's leading orchestras. With Schuch, Ensari has performed widely and released several more albums, including the recital Dialogues: Mozart, Debussy, Zimmermann in 2018, and In Search Of in 2022. In 2024, the pair issued the album Eternity.
