Memphis rapper Gloss Up rose through the hip-hop scene with her free-flowing rhymes, releasing her debut mixtape, Different Shades of Gloss, in 2019. She inked a deal with Quality Control in 2022, and the label issued Before the Gloss Up and Shades of Gloss the following year.
