

On the strength of her homegrown success in Malaysia, Yunalis Mat Zara'ai—commonly known as Yuna—was flown to the US where she inked a deal with Fader Label. The singer/songwriter released her international debut, Decorate, in '11, which introduced a new audience to her gentle blend of heartfelt lyricism and poignant melodies. Yuna later moved to Verve Records, where she further explored her jazz influences, while her '13 release, Nocturnal, became her biggest Stateside hit, garnering multiple nominations at the 2014 World Music Awards.
