Taking cues from classic jazz, house, rock and hip-hop, the Dutch electronic production duo Weval have juggled a range of stylish influences since their debut EP in 2013. Their glacial, minimalist ambience stems from Boards of Canada and Radiohead, while the avant-garde disco of Arthur Russell and the synthetic psychedelia of Silver Apples are the kaleidoscopic swirls in their chilled-out moments.
