The Wonder Years Essentials

Inspired by groups like Lifetime and The Get Up Kids, Pennsylvania band The Wonder Years formed in 2005. Blending the sarcastic catchiness of classic pop-punk with the heart-on-sleeve appeal of emo, they began the project purely for fun, but soon developed an underground following. After two widely acclaimed independent releases, the band's breakthrough third album, 2011's Suburbia I've Given You All and Now I'm Nothing, brought them to the attention of mainstream pop-punk stars like Good Charlotte, who heralded them as one of the most innovative groups in the scene.
