The Sinatra Concept Albums: Where Are You?
Apple Music

Where Are You? may be Sinatra's bleakest LP; you can almost smell the cigarette smoke through your speakers. The artists here find new drama as they cover each of the album's tunes. On "The Night We Called It a Day", John Coltrane and Milt Jackson sub ponderous sax and cool vibraphone for Frank's melancholic croon. And for "Autumn Leaves", Nat King Cole adds strings that float downward themselves.
