The Rolling Stones: Ballads

The Stones bring a wide range of styles to their sad, slow songs. And the majority of their classic ballads find them stepping well outside of rock. “Ruby Tuesday” comes shrouded in hazy psych-folk, and “Dead Flowers” is a honky-tonk twanger. And then there's “Waiting On a Friend”, which uses a silky reggae groove.
