Coronas guitarist Danny O'Reilly grew up in the bosom of traditional Irish folk—his mother is the venerated singer Mary Black. But when he formed his own band in Dublin, back in 2003, the four-piece turned towards a more modern sound, bringing together classic Americana, millennial British indie rock and Arcade Fire-style woah-ohs with an intense energy.
