New York City post-punk revivalists The Bravery formed in 2003. After a buzz-building year of selling out Lower East Side clubs, they released their debut EP, Unconditional, in 2004. In 2005, they scored a hit with the synth-heavy “An Honest Mistake”, the first track on their self-titled debut LP. Following that up with '07's The Sun and the Moon and '09's Stir the Blood, the band broadened their sound, cranking the guitars and adding new wave touches.
