T Bone Burnett: The Producers

T Bone Burnett: The Producers

T-Bone Burnett first made a name for himself as a guitarist for Bob Dylan in the late '70s, and he clearly inherited Dylan's love for classic American folk, blues and country music. By the early ‘80s, Burnett was a solo artist, and he soon became a major producer. For decades he's lent his trademark stripped-down sound to alternative artists looking to add a little grit and twang, like Elvis Costello, along with rock legends and roots icons hoping to reinvent themselves for modern ears, like Roy Orbison and Steve Earle.
