Catharina Stoltenberg and Henriette Motzfeldt live up to the title of their 2021 album. They’re believers in the process of experimenting with moods, textures and sounds, whether melding sweet, breathy vocals with a frequently dissonant backdrop or crafting off-kilter chamber-pop cuts. The two can kick it with breezy dance-floor concoctions (“Because”), strut through spacey, R&B-inflected jams (“Bail on me”) and go all-out bonkers with their drum machines (“I don’t talk about that much”).
