Seefeel Essentials

Whether hauntingly atmospheric or thrillingly propulsive, few bands have combined indie rock and electronica as gorgeously as Seefeel. Formed in the early-'90s, the pioneering UK post-rock group added the swirling psychedelic guitars of shoegaze to the hypnotic rhythms of experimental techno. Working with legendary electronic labels like Warp and Rephlex, Seefeel released a handful of essential albums and EPs before splitting in 1996, with leader Mark Clifford going on to explore pure techno as Disjecta. They reformed in 2008, sounding as singular and otherworldly as ever.
