Sebastian Bach Essentials

Sebastian Bach, born in the Bahamas in 1968 and raised in Canada, shot to fame as the frontman of the hard-rock act Skid Row; his striking looks and multi-octave range helped propel the searing “I Remember You” and the hard-luck chronicle “18 and Life” to the U.S. Top 10. Bach joined Canadian glam rockers Kid Wikkid at age 14 and was discovered by Skid Row guitarist Dave “Snake” Sabo in 1987. He became their singer shortly thereafter, staying until 1996. Bach released his first solo album, Bring ’Em Bach Alive!, in 1999; the next year he made his Broadway debut in a revival of Jekyll & Hyde. He appeared on reality and scripted TV in the 2000s, including a stint on Gilmore Girls, and released his second solo album, Angel Down, in 2007, following it up with 2011’s Kicking & Screaming and 2014’s Give ’Em Hell.
