Written by James Brown, "Think (About It)" was a minor R&B hit for the singer Lyn Collins in 1972. But in the late-'80s, its hard-hitting drums and funky swagger were used to score a run of hip-hop hits, including a classic party-starter by Rob Base & DJ E-Z Rock. Showing the vitality of the groove, the track's breaks were widely borrowed by the drum 'n' bass scene.
