Playhouse: Next Steps

Apple Music

From '93 until the early '00s, Germany's Playhouse was a leader in Europe's underground club scene. Founded as a sister label to the techno-oriented Klang, it got its start putting out minimal house from the likes of Roman Flügel, Losoul and Isolée. By the end of the decade, its catalogue included Daniel Wang's retro disco, Fabrice Lig's Detroit reveries and Benny Blanko's lush deep house.
