Mina: The '60s

Mina was a fabulous singer in an era of fabulous singers, with a big set of pipes and a taste for grand songs. She never plays it cool when she can go big, blasting us with her three-octave range and theatrical flair. (Yes, those strings may literally be weeping.) But her early ‘60s rock ‘n' roll is essential too. Ever the impudent scamp, she voiced the era when liberation came (finally) to women.
