Magnetic Fields: Best of 69 Love Songs

Looking for a challenge, Stephin Merritt decided to write a cabaret show consisting of 100 love songs. Realising that was too many, he cut the number back to the next-lowest number he could think of that was related to romance. Ranging from country weepers and delicate piano ballads to continental art songs and winsome indie pop, here are the highlights of The Magnetic Fields' 1999 masterpiece.
