Lifelike Essentials

Lifelike, a.k.a. Laurent Heinrich, is one of the true masters of French touch, with a sound heavily influenced by '80s Italo-disco and synth-pop. Lifelike signed with Parisian label 20000ST in 2001 and his first single tore up the charts on its way to being 2002's unofficial song of the summer. Remixes and collaborations with A-Trak, Alan Braxe, Classixx and Chromeo followed, culminating in an album deal with Virgin Records. Few dance music producers can match Lifelike's ability to meld melancholy and melody on the dance floor.
