Raised by a pair of singers, Katie Noonan was destined for a career in music. Trained at the Queensland Conservatorium, she was still a teen when she teamed up with her brother Tyrone to form the pop-rock band George, whose 2002 debut, Polyserena, went to No. 1 on the charts. The acrobatic vocalist has since had an eclectic career, performing a mix of opera, jazz, pop and rock as a soloist; in collaboration with her mother, Maggie; and as the singer for jazz trio Elixir. With a delightfully varied catalogue, this mesmerising chanteuse has proven she can do it all.
