Karin Schaupp Essentials

Australian classical guitarist Karin Schaupp strummed her first six-string aged three—and never looked back. Her heartfelt interpretations of both classic and contemporary numbers have led to international acclaim as a recitalist and concerto soloist. A member of guitar quartet Saffire, she also tours the one-woman show Lotte's Gift—a play written about her life with her mother and her grandmother. After the birth of her daughter, Schaupp was inspired to record well-known lullabies which enriched her already varied body of work.
