Johnny Cash: The '80s

In 1980 Johnny Cash was inducted into the Country Music Hall Of Fame, but the rest of the decade would not bring him significant solo success or acclaim. Cash toured throughout the '80s, but his only No. 1 country hit came as a member of The Highwaymen in 1985. Though Cash continued making powerful records throughout the decade, he'd have to wait until the '90s for his big comeback.
