How about this for a blues pedigree: by the time he turned 13, Joe Bonamassa had already opened for B.B. King and was a seasoned regular on the Upstate New York blues circuit. These experiences would ultimately form the basis of his killer blues-rock style. He held his own with the outfit Bloodline (alongside the sons of Robby Krieger, Miles Davis and Berry Oakley), got his ya-ya's out with side projects Black Country Communion and Rock Candy Funk Party and collaborated with singer/songwriter Beth Hart. The best way to get to know Joe is through his solo work—his sizzling guitar and aching vocal hitting like a runaway train as he fuses blues with hard rock, jazz, and funk with ease.
