James Morrison Essentials

James Morrison Essentials

As a bandleader, composer, professor and performer, trumpeter James Morrison is one of the most celebrated names in Australian jazz music. Studying at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in the late '70s, he formed the Morrison Brothers with sibling John in 1983. He's since gone on to work with everyone from Whitney Houston to Wynton Marsalis. Morrison composed and performed the opening song to the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, and conducted the world's largest orchestra (7224 musicians!) in 2013. He's also a mountain climber and racecar driver—the man does it all.
