Kentucky crooner Bryson Tiller carved out a distinct lane at the midpoint of rap and R&B with T R A P S O U L, his moody major-label debut. But he's not the only R&B artist to embellish ghostly melodies with trap-inspired beats and bass, nor the only rapper to ditch spitting for singing. When the vibe's this right, the distinction hardly matters.
