Raised by notable reggae keyboardist Ansell Collins, I Wayne became known for a powerful falsetto that underlined the Rastafarian doctrine in his lyrics. After breaking out with his second album, 2007's Book of Life, I Wayne found himself more comfortable touching on a variety of issues, including domestic violence and geopolitics.
