After rapper/producers jjj and febb came together as the duo Young Drunkers, the Fla$hBackS crew formed in 2013 with the addition of a third member, KID FRESINO. As a group and on solo releases, the three beatmakers inventively chop up samples both obscure and familiar, taking cues from ‘90s hip-hop but pushing towards a uniquely fractured aesthetic of their own.
